Debbi’s current passion for Wheels to Work and GoLux have allowed her to fulfill the needs of West Michigan’s employers and job seekers. Transportation is no longer a barrier to work. Wheels to Work and GoLux are expanding into additional counties in Michigan and elsewhere.
Wheels to Work is a ride-to-work program for those with transportation barriers or for those looking for reliable and affordable transportation. GoLux is an affordable chauffeured driven travel experience that is also handicap accessible.
Debbi Coleman has been involved with community projects most of her adult life. She has been instrumental with developing programs such as; West Michigan Community Health Check, a free senior medical assessment program, Community and Outreach Programs for the University of Michigan, setting up the University of Michigan’s Quality Improvement Programs and expos, and currently Hope Network’s Wheels to Work and GoLux transportation initiatives.
Debbi has presented on a national level regarding Customizing Hiring for Employers and Incorporating a Diverse Human Capital, in addition to Hiring Those with Criminal Histories or Disabilities. Debbi has been recognized for her efforts by winning the National Quality in Human Resource Practice Award from CUPA.
