Leading researcher, author and speaker, Brene’ Brown said in her book Dare to Lead: “Leaders must either invest a reasonable amount of time attending to fears and feelings or squander an unreasonable amount of time trying to manage ineffective and unproductive behavior.” Let’s spend time looking at the weight of armor and weaponry which keeps us from having courageous conversations, asserting our thoughts and feelings and giving and receiving feedback. This presentation will bring an awareness of how to see courage in a different light and begin dismantling the armor and weapons we use to keep us from leaning into the uncomfortable.
