BIO.: Dr. Dettmann is a board-certified addiction medicine specialist in private practice in Grand Rapids. She is a graduate of both the University of Michigan and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. However, she does claim to bleed green. Dr. Dettmann is a community advocate for the underserved and sits on the boards of Kent County Medical Society, Network 180, and In the Image. She is an educator at MSU and GVSU. Her passion is spreading the word about the opioid epidemic – how we got here and what to do now to curtail the further loss of precious lives.
